The gamble paid off. Last Saturday the “Croce Rossa Informant” has been presented: it is a quarterly magazine that will be distributed on the Brianza area and will report on the constant care of the volunteers on our territory.
Mirko Damasco, administrator of Monza and Brianza, said that apart from all the works the Croce Rossa carries out in our area, it is important to talk about this new magazine zero-environmentally impact, distributed in 20.000 copies in all Brianza and that is going to make the services more known to everybody; the second news is that a solution for Croce Rossa’s volunteers base has been finally found, in fact last Tuesday the Company Meeting voted for and an appropriate place to work in will be available soon.
That is great news, received heartily by all those present. It is a publishing venture which not only is going to make the 118 service and the one for the homeless well known, but also the transport service of the people affected by cancer.
Mirko Damasco affirmed then that what is behind the Croce Rossa is a huge work, and he also specified that the provincial activity does not receive any state aid, but it is based on volunteering only.
