Petrol too expensive, Brianza bets on electric mobility
Since the price of petrol has risen up to almost 2 Euros per liter, the Province of Monza has decided to start a project by which a new net of petrol stations around Brianza will be supplied with electric pumps.
The intention is to put in 60 electric pumps in some strategic points, such as malls, railway stations and hospitals too. The first one will be placed in the car park of the Iper shopping centre parking place, in Via Stucchi in front of the Brianteo Stadium.
Limbiate, Varedo, Lissone, Seregno and Carnate are the towns chosen to host these electric pumps. Every pump can recharge at the most 4 vehicles at a time and it can take an hour to have the battery completely recharged, allowing a distance of about 150 kms. Once exhausted it needs to be substituted.
